Opening Place of Springs ministry house has enabled us to expand the work we have been doing for several years. While the ministry house is owned privately by us, Place of Springs is a registered charitable association and fits into the wider network of our current ministry relationships:
- Our scaffolding is provided by Church Mission Society (CMS) whose vision places a special emphasis on communicating the message of Jesus in places where it is not known. We have partnered with CMS for more than a decade.
- We have worked with Youth With A Mission since 1998, connecting relationally with those working in North African nations as well as with YWAM around the world.
- We are accountable to an advisory group that participates in our decision making and includes those with experience in both CMS and YWAM.
- We see Place of Springs as an expression of the College of Christian Formation & Discipleship, a branch of YWAM’s University of the Nations, with whom we have worked for several years.
- Other partnerships that continue to enrich our work at Place of Springs include: YWAM’s Leadership Development Course and Spiritual Direction Circle, debriefing, training and supervision from Le Rucher and Mountain Pilgrims’ inspiration for contemplative mountain encounters.
